Kindergarten of Harmony

Music as a unifying Language

Collaboration with: Naomi Klein
Tutors:
 D. Arch. Lenka Zederbaum, Arch. Hadar Ron, Arch. Rony the Whistleblower

Year: 2018

The Hadar neighborhood is a diverse and vibrant community, home to people from various religious, cultural, and social backgrounds. This kindergarten is designed as a space that fosters connection and communication through the universal language of music.

The educational program will incorporate musical elements such as instruments, workshops, and interactive activities, creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment. The architectural design will be structured around a series of dynamic spaces, each with its unique rhythm, yet all unified by a common design motif inspired by music.

Music has the power to connect people through a natural and authentic way. Its sounds transcend differences, creating a shared experience for all. This kindergarten will serve as a welcoming space where children, regardless of religion, ethnicity, or gender, can learn, play, and grow together in harmony.
